The Vedic texts of India report great concerts of gandharva music being performed to balance the imbalances in Nature that were at the basis of conflict and war as well as natural disasters. These concerts created peace and harmony, not only among the audience, but for the whole community.
Maharishi Gandharva Veda music is described as the "eternal music of Nature" -- the rhythms and melodies of Nature expressed in music.
